Why not try to work together to achieve a common goal through co-operative mode? Still, it’s not always the right time to make enemies. Sometimes, it makes for some great laughs when you and your pals outsmart each other in kart racing or FPS titles.

The developers have been working on this game for 4 years, so it's a bit odd that this problem exists but I'm sure that given time, the problem will be rectified.ġ00,000 free Gold on MMObomb ( enough to buy 2.5 booster decks or 8 normal packs ):ġ00,000 free Gold on MMObomb ( enough to buy 2.It’s fun competing with friends through video games. If you were playing versus a human, you have to try and login as soon as possible, otherwise the computer will pass your turn within seconds. If you were playing versus AI, the game state is saved. The server is occasionally, annoyingly flaky giving you a, "You were disconnected from the server" errors ( usually a problem while trying to login to the game but a couple of times, I've been disconnected during a game ). When I played Magic: The Gathering, my friends and I would use 2,000 card, rainbow libraries. Streamlined, 60 card decks are fun to make but they eventually get boring to play with or against. 100 card libraries are the maximum size and 60 cards are the minimum deck size ). I wish that there was a format for larger, pre-constructed decks ( I like to use 80- 100 dual-colour card decks. After playing for 36-48 hours straight, I got bored of seeing the same colours utilizing the same mechanics. More cards are coming out in a few months. The card sets are currently tiny: around 31 different cards per colour.

The game mechanics regarding speed are confusing at first, so there is a bit of a learning curve, via trial and error.

Two entry tickets were given to me for free by the developers, so based on my final performance ( 2 losses, 1 win and a final loss ) I ended up winning 2 x small packs + 1,000 gold. The competition is top notch in Trials, which is fantastic. I just finished my first Trial ( a draft game against other human opponents ). I recently noticed that there is crafting ( to craft missing cards ) trials ( drafting ) and public tournaments. Then I stumbled to the washroom before my pants filled up: I had just finished an "Epic Quest" ( 55 PVP battles ) and won a 12-pack box ( 12 x Normal Packs = 120 cards total ). I passed out at my keyboard, min-maxing and re-designing my decks. I've been playing for 36+ hours straight. If you don't want to wait, there is always AI. I found a game at any time of day, even at 4:30 am ( North American Eastern time ) 1 minute queue time rather than 20 seconds, during peak time. You can practice against AI of different difficulties and they are somewhat Godly on Expert or Inhumane difficulty. In the beginning you might focus on good or evil packs but those cost 17,500 gold for 10 cards. Tips for beginners: buying "Normal" packs of 10 random cards for 12,500 gold is the best value for in-game money. You can go on quests and gain gold and booster packs. By the time I was level 10, I had three different decks and made a couple of interesting dual-colour, combo decks. You get a free booster deck every 5 levels, starting with level zero. I love the artwork and the music is nice. Once you get over the learning curve of the game's speed mechanics, and timing of spells, the game becomes very absorbing. You also have the option to dump a card from your hand, draw 5 cards at random from your deck, and pick one land ( shrine ) if any - a mechanic that takes advantage of modern computing power. Lands ( shrines ) create both coloured and colourless mana, which become fixed, depending on your choice ( depending on the cards in your hand ). "Spellweaver" features 4 different speed types for creatures ( think of a slow, lumbering giant or hydra that does massive damage, versus a swift elf that does lower damage - kind of like David versus Goliath ).Ī lot of thought was put into overcoming mana problems. This is a high quality game, in the same vein as "Spectromancer" ( free on Kongregate ) and "Infinity Wars". This is a collectible, tactical and strategic, fantasy card game a worthy successor to Magic: The Gathering ( M:TG ).
